REIMO Easy-Fit Roof Installations:
The Reimo elevating roof can be fitted to the VW T5 or T6 Short Wheel Base (SWB) and Long Wheel Base (LWB) vehicle
All of the roofs manufactured by Reimo have passed the strict German TUV testing and meet the latest EU regulations.
These standards encompass the all of the different components from the strengthening frame to the hinges, gas struts and tenting material to ensure that the installation of a Reimo elevating roof doesn’t detract from the integrity and safety of the base vehicle.

The strength and stability of the roofs come from a double skin GRP/fibreglass roof shell construction with a special aviation grade strengthening and insulation foam inner core.
The insulation properties of the elevating roofs is increased further by the use of an ISOvelour internal lining material.
For piece of mind all the materials, including the tenting material, used in the construction of Reimo roofs meet the strict automotive industry fire retardancy safety standards.
The roof comes with hinges at the front or back allowing choice of the main height to be a the front or rear of the vehicle when elevated.
The roof is opened by undoing two tie down straps at the front and with one good push the roof will open with two hydraulic gas struts pushing the roof up and holding it fully open when in use.
All roof canvases comes with 3 windows for good ventilation and visibility out.
The two side’s open up to mosquito netting first to allow air circulation but both can be fully opened for full ventilation. On the front of the canvas you can unzip the panel to expose a plastic perspex screen
The canvas themselves are a breathable and waterproof material
