Our most popular conversions have traditionally been VW Transporters, and increasingly Ford Transit Customs also.

Camper conversions vary greatly in cost, depending on options selected such as a fixed or rail bed system, and whether you wish a HiLo roof or REIMO Easy-fit roof installed or not.

HiLo Pop-Top Roof Installations:
We are among the first companies to have recognised the quality of these fantastic roofs, and to have gained the training and certification to install these from HiLo.
It is the original highest lifting, lowest profile, full panoramic roof for your van, and are made for both VW Transporters and Ford Transit Customs.
We highly recommend the excellent HiLo Sport roof and are expert in the quality installation of these. Recently the Hilo Surf has been released, and we are fully trained in the fitting of this lower cost but excellent roof also.

M1 Tested Seat Bed Systems:
Crystal Custom Campers are the proud designers of our own M1 "Crash tested" manual and electric seat/bed systems, including our own slide rail bed system, and even an extra long 7" bed.
They are specifically designed to provide maximum headroom for HiLo roofs, providing far greater headroom than our major competitors. The slide rail system allow maximum living and loading flexibility, and can be fully removed if desired, and even allows the option of an additional travelling seat when needed.

Bespoke Hand-crafted Interiors:
We build bespoke and extremely high quality, practical and durable furniture that most of our competitors just cannot complete with, yet at a truly affordable price.
Crystal Custom Campers has skilled carpenters and have spent years identifying and working with the perfect tough and hardwearing materials, that are stunning in appearance and lightweight, but simply wont scratch or mark as most popular brands will.
What We Do
Front Cab Swivel Bases:
Another popular and practical conversion is to install swivel-base mounted driver and front passenger seats.
The two most popular bases we install are "Kiravans" and "TOC" single and double swivels.
Soundproofing and Insulation:
We use nylon based insulation materials which provide excellent warmth and comfort when sleeping and travelling, and do not absorb moisture.
We use several types of proven soundproofing products to reduce noise and vibration, including "Dynamat" and "Skinz".
Carpeting and Flooring:
We use only the best 15mm ply lining for our floors (or 30mm aluminium smart floor with our rail systems). There are several floor covering options but two of the best are "Altro" non-slip, and the extremely durable "Floortex" carpet.
Acoustic or Easyliner 4-way stretch carpeting is usually used for trimming walls, ceilings and other areas, but there are additional options such as stretchy suede effect lining.
Window Fitting:
We supply and fit windows using only high quality glass, clear or tinted and ensure a perfect fit every time.
